 Pervasive Software is closely watching the changing technology vistas ahead. From Windows Vista™ to 64-bit computing to multi-core processor proliferation, changes in the technology landscape are taking shape. These and other new technologies undoubtedly will affect Pervasive database partners and customers. With this in mind, our commitment to make emerging technology adoption easier for you, now and in the future, is a driving vision behind Pervasive PSQL Summit™ v10.
There are many important reasons why this release is important to you:

- 64-bit platform support

Many readers may not be aware that Oracle has a Red Hat compatible Linux distribution called "Oracle Enterprise Linux." This distribution is aimed at customers who require a solid Linux distribution with various support options, available under Oracle's "Unbreakable Linux" support program.
The installation for Oracle Enterprise Linux will look familiar to anyone who has installed Red Hat Enterprise, or any other Red Hat type distribution.
